I'll wait for advances in Medical Sciences, I am sure that one day the
Cure for Greenism will be found and all those poor fellows will become
adjusted members of society. :-)

Ok, now talking seriously, although the Greens are still very
powerful, I think that they are not so powerful nowadays as they were,
say, ten years ago, and there are indeed embryonic anti-green
movements like the one at econot.com .

Also, although the Greens keep talking that this or that technology is
evil, if the technology is overwhelmingly useful/advantageous then
people *keep* using that technology anyway. Examples are cell phones
and electricity. For years there have been claims that they may cause
brain tumors, leukemia and stuff, but even though some of those claims
have been supported by some experimental results, people continue to
use cell phones (there is one at my side right now and I was using it
a few hours ago, frying my poor neurons with microwaves...) and
electricity (lets say that my computer is not a steam-powered Babbage
Machine :-). And people use more and more of them. Recently, a similar
tendency has been observed in regard to nuclear power too...

So, if SPSs will offer massive advantages (like cheap electricity and
independence from oil, as well as indirect advantages like cheaper
space travel) people will keep using it no matter what Gaia speaks
through Her greenie oracles.
