Has Hollywood 'discovered' O'Neill Habitats?

Yeah, contradiction acknowledged. However, 2001 stands head and
shoulders above other films that try to be serious about space (I'm
having trouble thinking of some titles though) and I compare to other
films (not necessarily sci-fi) where the director wastes film on
something that doesn't advance the story.

Anyways, it's obvious I'm cutting some slack for 2001. :)
