it is about ballistic missile submarines and how they could destroy life
on Earth in order to save it from the other side. One of the episodes,
sorry - not sure which one, has a short, 5-10 seconds, shot of the pool
in the Russian sub, a Typhoon, it shows 4 or 5 men sitting in the pool,
it is in a tiled room and is about the size of a large home spa.

Yes, the Akula class. They also had saunas. I'd love to see a picture
of that pool. As for indoor versus outdoor pools on a submarine - I
think I'd vote for the indoor variety :)
