We're both dealing with fantasy, here. Neither Mars colonies or space
habitats exist at this time. We're all blue-skying. Neither your
fantasy nor anyone else's is better.

Pardon me? You believe that the division between proponents of space
versus surface living is a MORAL battle equivalent to the division
between adults who want to have sex with children and people who see
that as incredibly wrong? That those who disagree with you are the
MORAL equivalent of Nazis? Are you trying to LABEL me by association?

You, I think, have proved all of my concerns about your feelings in
this matter.

I'm here to speak, to question, to offer my own insights and
understandings, and to learn. I'm not here to be condescendingly
preached to, nor are the others of a more open mind, who are not
nearly as divinely certain of their truth as you seem to be. We
joined a discussion group -- not a church.

You are no longer "discussing" -- you are prosyletizing, railing at
the sinners and threatening them to repent or else. And just as I
send itinerant preachers selling exhortations away from my door, I
will no longer respond to what this thread has become. Your certainty
will never overcome my uncertainty, nor will I attempt to open your
mind. I have no interest in spreading doubt among the born-again.
There are other things going on in my life, and preaching against
preaching takes too much time and energy.

I apologize to the rest of the group for starting this.
