I'm rather fond of the idea of having the window areas double as
lakes. If they are, then the land strips would be higher in the middle
and lower at the edges. Of course, in a cylindrical habitat, "higher"
means "closer to the axis," while "lower" means "farther from the axis."

To somebody standing on the ground inside, it might well *look* as if
water were flowing uphill at times. When one considers that water
*can* flow uphill, with pump-assist or careful contouring of
the "streambed," well, things could get to looking very weird indeed.

Things to remember when we create the comic book, which leads to the TV
series, which leads to the block-buster movie franchise, which leads to
the public getting so hyped that these things are actually built.
