Marshall Savage (Millennial Project) had made a case for Supercritical
Combustion Chambers for this application. I take it that the argument
is that while this has never been economical here on Earth due to the
huge requirement of heat energy, it becomes viable in the situation of a
flimsy 0-G mirror outside the shadow of a planet.

What's the general consensus on this?
