No FAQ for this group, but I do maintain a Space Settlement FAQ at
http://members.aol.com/oscarcombs/spacsetl.htm. Might not be what
you're looking for, though; more of a basic primer on why we might build
space habitats. It certainly doesn't go into deep detail on the
economics (other than proceeding from the assumption that any space
settlement must have an export to be able to pay for the initial
investment and balance trade).
