Space colonization as a 'safety valve'

Even if this is the case, we're still looking at the same massive
complications - shipping expense and capacity.

Look at what happens when other countries use the greenback as their
benchmark. Argentina, for instance. Local conditions differ from those
found in the US. Monetary policy and convertability are the seeds of
the problem.
