Has anyone read the new article on cube sats in New Sciencist magazine? This
could be a good way to create a tracking system on asteriods by packing as
many of them into one rocket that would act like a puff flower. Let's say we
send one rocket to the belt and it release a large sat in a shape of ball. This
ball sat would be a nav/communication hub of a solar net. From the ball sat's
surface many small cube sats would be shoot off to different rocks and land
on them. The tracking bugs inside each cube would be beaned back to earth by
the way of the ball sat, creating a detailed map of the numbers and their orbit
and locations.
