You're simply not looking at the what you've cited yourself.

Republicans are disproportionately under-educated white males.

Most women, minorities (including blacks, hispanics, and Jews) and college
educated folks vote Dem.

And we all know college professors, on the most part, are not Republicans.

The result of the ignorant dominating education and governance is by its
nature incompetence at its best and potentially disastrous and is now
getting very near Dark Agey if you will.
