Awful liberals, awful conservatives [WAS ISLAND ONE, a prime time...]

all this talk of politics is sickening - I would hope to get away from
a lot of this by going in to space - If a people have a united
purpose and a desire to see it done then all you need is basic
supports - ( medical, some law enforcement,etc) there would be no need
to pay people to direct your lives because you could not decide for
yourselves. In a colony there would not be a welfare system as it
would be in everyones best interest to ensure that people could do the
best that they were capable of ( broken leg - have a desk job for a
while). Any people who help shape direction would do so because it was
in the best interest of the colony - not in their own interests. even
the most independent individual who has a bit of widsom can see that
operating in a cooperative manner could have more benefits - ( make
sure you have a place to call home)
