Satellites that orbit above 1,000 km (620 mi) will stay up there for
thousands of years.

So, there's really no need to go all the way to GEO (GEO= 35,800 km (about
22,200 mi)).

But for a sense of security and for giant and multiple structures and
complex space architecture intended to coexist in the long term, maybe L5
would be best.

For SPS though, maybe we don't want to go too far out.
