Population of O'Neill cylinder

The key to a good life is a balanced diet and a reasonable amount of
exorcise.

If you're thinking about the innefficency of cows producing meat in
proportion to the feed they consume, there is goat meat. The goat is
a good meat producer in proportion to the feeds it consumes. In
addition, I suspect cattle can be improved through selective
breeding.

It is also possible some space islands may be constructed
purposefully to serve as agriculture colonies to produce food for
other colonies. But let us not forget, not all plants are for food.
SOme will be for medicnal uses. Others, cotton, hemp and linnen,
will be produced to make cloths.
