Off the subject, I converted my old satellite dish into a solar cooker
over the last couple of weeks. To my astonishment, it got hotter than I
had suspected, and broke the mirror I had mounted on the reciever, then
set the old reciever on fire. This project is turning out more
interesting every day. And it wasn't even focused properly of the sun
at the time. C'est la vis.

That's pretty interesting. Now imagine what you would do with a solar
concentrator with about the same mass, but as big in area as your house.
Then imagine one about the same mass as your car, but bigger in area than a
football field. Such things become possible in 0 G.
