help with a short story

My novel is of the Genre Alternate History though the main character
does go back in time to change the course of history by maniupating
events.

I doubt anyone here would be much interested in it.

No such books on the US breaking from Britain too soon. Basicly the
Thirteen original colonies had reached the stage of having developed
both infrastructure and stable ideology. When Britain got heavy
handed, ties were duly severed. Mexico and South America were far
less stable as Spain simply worked on exploitation, sending colonial
officials interested in Gold and treasure with few people coming over
specificly to start new communities. When the Napoleonic wars
errupted, many South American colonies decided Expoitation Days were
over.

The North American colonies were in many ways totally different from
all other European settlements. They were establed not just for
wealth and exploitation but for Communities and new lives.

They did have two grievences among many. One, the famous No Taxation
without representation and Two, Many didn't like being a dumpting
ground for criminals. Benjamin Franklin actually wanted to ship them
back. Most criminals, then and now are hardly the wretched motivated
by poverty but are lazy greedy and not very bright. They hardly
helped the workforce despite the great opportunities available for
honest well paying employment. Some did but the historical record
isn't very positive. I mention them as being a good cause for
outrage that might spark revolution.

Many people leave their homelands out of alienation for what they
have lived through. We have the famous Pilgims of the Mayflower.
Huegenots settled areas that later became Canada. Many Zionists fled
Europe to settle Israil both out of fear of anti-semitism as well as
a sence of alienation with the cultures of the time.

As for science, well an alternative means for wreaking havoc from
space is simple, perhaps their specialty is trajectories. Launching
huge ore loads from the moon to the L4 and L5 regions for
construciton use. Or modifying the trajectories of comets or meteors
for the same purpose. Trajectories of such objects can be a means to
attack earth.

As for love, that is a good motive to start over. I do see home in
space as a possible rebirth of humanity.
