How to get to 10 trillion people in this solar system?

no, it would not be that draconian. basically all that would happen
is that the shelves would be empty for a day or so every few months,
with plausible explanations. the odds are that there would not have
to be very many extra births to over come the deficient, meaning that
it would only happen once or twice a year then not happen again for
three or four.

never said a thing about it. its simply human nature and human
biology. no force is required.

there would not be any laws, how would anyone "rebel" when there was
no force applied. our of 100000 ppl (50000 women), the majority would
have no trouble with having 2 children. a few would apply to have
extra children. and a few would choice to give up the right to have
children. for the majority of time, there would be no need for any
coercion to having more children. then during a time when the
population fell off a small amount, someone with computer access
could change a order for contraceptives from 100 to 10, which would
appear to be a simple mistake. the store would have some stock in
local warehouse supply so they would actually only be short about
half or less of that.

women that were buying them would see that they were going to be out
for a couple of days and would figure it would be no trouble. lets
say that there were 10000 women affected. there are only 5 days a
month or so that a woman has a good chance of getting pregnant (i
think there are two or three more but the chances on those are slim).
this means that only about 1666 of these women are really in danger
of getting pregnant. likely the majority of these women would
restrain from sex or have a safer variety of sex for those days. this
means only about 2-500 of them are really at risk. since not all of
these would be having sex then anyway, the number is even smaller.
this would result in perhaps 50 to 100 births, as a result of
this "accident". any of the women that choose not to keep the
children could give them up to couples that did. in a society of
100000 ppl that has to replace itself every 35 years (the time a from
when women would likely become sexually active to the menopause)
an "accident" of this nature would only have to happen every 5 to 10
years.

1) how would they rebel when they did not even know it was happening
until well afterwords.

2) how would they rebel since it was their choice that got the into
the situation.

3) how would anyone prove that it was deliberate, since it would be
done so seldom.

politics), and since living on a station is at a constant risk, there
would be some dictated laws, meaning a certain loss of freedom.

an example is on earth if you own some farmland, you can plant what
you want, dig a hole if you want, or even build a ballpark. while ppl
will talk about it, its your land, so you can do as you choise. in a
space station, there would be many restriction on what you could and
could not do with that farm. Ppl living there would be used to the
politics and living under certain lvls of dictatorship.

imagine this. peroidically, the stores are short on purfume for a day
or so. computer glitch, no one really notices. cocolates are short
everyonce in a while. who cares. certain, non essecial foods are in
short supply once or twice a year. a few grumbles would be heard.
contraceptives are short once or twice in a single year. big deal.

but because of the this last shortage, a short term population
decline is corrected.
