there in lies the difference that leads to all of the other
arguements. i believe that man will not survive without elbow room.
as long as there was more room to the west, ppl would leave and find
a new home when things got too crowded. once the west met the east,
the elbow room began to disappear.

perhaps for the next century, the elitist maybe able to keep space to
themself, but not much longer than that. not if man survives that
century. america was not settled by elitist and i dont think many of
the other countries were either. space will just be a new uncharted
country. try to keep the the ppl that dont conform to your uptopian
plan and you will find a new war on your hand, much like the french
monarchy found. those that dont fit the profile often dont like to be
told to eat cake.
