Hi,

If the trend follows, it is very likely population stop to grow by
2050, and by 2100 it will start to reduce dramatically. Perhaps two
centuries from now there will be less people in the planet than today.

If that really happens. Why we will need more room for?

I just don't believe demographic pressure is the reason to go to space.
It does not make sense. Each human in space will cost lots of millions
to mantain there to begin with.

There has to be a more powerful reason to leave the planet. Otherwise
people will stay.

In the past, when fish invaded the lands of an empty planet, they were
just a few individuals which left the ocean. Not all the fishes at
once. The same will happens when men finally left the planet. They
will be just a few and mankind perhaps won't even notice it.
