Marshall Savage, in "The Millenial Project", estimates that the solar
system has enough resources to *easily* support 5 billion billion
people. These habitats, though, were zero-G ones he envisioned.
1994, the Edgeworth-Kuiper Belt with its huge reserves of volatiles
had only just started to be discovered.
