I see it going well beyond bags of paper and blue bags for bottles,
cans and plastics.

Wastes are going to have to be recycled into furtilizer or broken down
into their chemical components. Salts in peticular will be amogn the
first to be relcaimed unless there's a way to syntheticly produce
them. When an animal is butchered, everything is going to have to be
used. The same goes for plant wastes. If a building is taken down, it
is going to have to be completely recycled. Concrete broken down to be
reformed itno new concrete. Metal melted down into new metal products.
Glass goes the same way.

I even see the heavy lift launch vehicles and shuttle fuel tanks being
recycled into construction material.

And anything that defies recycling will simply be ripped apart and
mixed into the slag for construction material to give outer protection
to the habitats.

Recycled materials don't have to be replaced either through shipment
from earth which will be highly expensive or saught out from the cosmos.

I suspect it is going to have to be near one hundred percent recycling
in one way or another.
