I've "inside information" at least about Brazil: yes, our population growth
rate is falling steadily. In fact, the result of our last nationwide census
surprised the demographers, who were expecting higher numbers than the ones
actually found. There are even some observable cultural trends, like many
families in the larger cities opting for having only one child.
