It's a tempting idea, though that would place the lunar base on the far
side. But that might not be a major problem with the right kind of
communication satellite(s). What might be more of a problem is the
facility occasionally having to dodge incoming ore spheres! Maybe that
wouldn't be as scary as it first sounds to me; I don't know.
