There has always been stuff that was less than diamond-hard SF. I
love the Barsoom and Pellucidar stories of Edgar Rice Burroughs, but
let's face it, you can't build a blueprint of the future based on
Tharks and banths and nubile cavewomen.
Barsoom and Pellucidar, and personally, I can't wait.
