thats true, but on earth, if the banker will look at the contractors
history, and such, then determine wheither or not the homes are
likely going to sell, then will arrange for him to have the money for
a few of the houses at a time.

building a station cant be done one house at a time, it all or
nothing. if the buyers decided after they are there, that they are
not going to pay, who is going to be able to recover the cost of the
station. your talking about building an entire city, with factories,
stores, farmes, schools, homes and everything else all at once. what
factories are they to put in, how will it pay for itself. how big
are the schools. what kind of fads do they plan for. these are a few
questions that will have to be figured out before anyone would put up
the money for the station. you dont just go to a banker and say, "my
house cant handle all the kids anymore, i want to get a loan for
their starter house."

your also talking about something that will cost more than the gnp
for a decade for many countries.
