People,
Science, Vol 27 | Number 6 July 2006 that had an regular section called
"Velocity science in motion" with an article on the very last page (page 48)
by Laura Fayers, entitled "Poo That's Clean Enough to Drink". The article
was about a new development by a Dr Tony Taylor who has a way of turning
sewerage into potable water and fish or prawns, (shrimp to Americans).
Here is a link to the ANSTO ( Australian Nuclear Science and Technology
Organisation) site with an electronic copy of the article (looks like it is
the same one at first glance).
