Joseph Kittinger: The First Man In Space?

unless im mistaken, the x planes went higher than the russians and did
it before they did. the difference is that it was a miliary, thus
secret, project. history will likely accept one of those flights as
the first to reach space. then again, i could be wrong about when they
reach that goal.
