NASA is considering suspending all US research research on ISS to save up to "100 million" dollars.

Let's see. ISS cost about $100 Billion. So... to save less than 1% of cost....of a station that may have less than a 20 year life.... Does anyone else think this is a strange priority?

Besides politics, wasn't research the primary purpose of a space station?
