consider this. the shuttle has had 104 (if my count is correct)
launches, with two failures with 13 lives lost (im sorry but i dont
have the number of crewmen in those flights).
of 34 crewmen.
Its a little difficult to discuss russian successes as many of theirs
are still hidden, and many losses could have been hidden from the
world.
