Wouldn't it be nice to send, say, 100 people to explore Mars? I mean
100 people at a time, with another 200 in orbit. So people would
spend four month on Mars, and then eight months orbiting the Red
Planet. At any given time, there could be a great deal of science
going on, both from orbit and on the surface. After about five years,
they could come back to Near-Earth Space, and another 200 would arrive
at Mars. Eh, make it 600.
