Getting paid in space

I'd have to side with ed. Maybe than can create a debit system of credits, based on a digital currency. It would also be needed that the credits are really backed with somoe sort of gold or rare mineral that is harvested. That would simplify the purpose and usage of money. It could follow something similiar to what we use now. Kinda like using digtal credits over the internet to purchae Items, such as paypal.

Island Ones will be company towns committed to mining and building
future settlements along with power satallites and communications
ones that will justify the colonies immediately.

Island Twos will be the settlements. Then the possibility of money in
real form can be considered.
