What is the best number of habitats in a cluster

Of course, my cube was just one example. I just sent a reply yo Mike Combs
and the last ting I said that one problem we face is the limit of our
imaginations, when these things are finally built, they are going to be
arranged in ways we failed to think of, no doubt we will have gotten many of
the things right but I am sure that most will be wrong or we will not have
gone far enough.

Uh... You can extend that to other types of polyedra. For instance, if
your external surface is a rhomboid icosahedron - well, I hope that is
the correct name, anyway it is a "soccer ball" composed of 12
pentagons and 20 hexagons. This solid has 32 faces and 60 corners, so
can have up to 92 habitats exploring only faces and corners.
Interestingly, this cluster seen from outside would look like some
types of virus - a ball covered with "spikes".
