Interstellar would work better than intergalactic. The distances and
time involved for intergalactic travel are mind-boggling. Even light
takes millions of years to get to other galaxies. To get to other
galaxies, we'll need to develop a way to get there that doesn't
involve movement since even the speed of light isn't fast enough.

As far as the skirts go, I think shorts or something will have to be
worn underneath. Stiff materials could keep the skirt from floating
up, but in zero G, a person could very well be floating underneath
the lady and would therefore have quite a view. When astronauts move
around in Zero G, they often pull themselves head first like they
were swimming, meaning anyone behind them would be looking right up
their legs. Wait a minute.... on second thought, no shorts!
