On the other hand, we can make "intergalactic travel" of sorts by
simply colonizing this galaxy and waiting for other galaxies to
collide with us. In fact the Milky Way *is* "ingesting" a few dwarf
galaxies right know, and in a few billion years there will be the Big
Hit (Andromeda Galaxy).
