Anyone who thinks that humans should be living in the oceans needs a
diatribe. However, if somebody can't see the painfully obvious effects
of humans habitation, there isn't much possibility of a reasonable
dialogue (which is why I haven't been responding much).
If your position were that yes, humans destroy biodiversity wherever
they live, but for some reason you thought that such destruction of the
ocean ecosystems was a good thing, then we could discuss that.
But it's not; your belief (as far as I can tell) is that, this time, for
some inexplicable reason, humans WON'T destroy the ecosystem they live
in, despite the entire weight of human history to the contrary.
I don't know what to say to that. It's simply baffling.

I feel pretty much the same. My guess is that this ocean-habitation
project will fail, thank goodness, and the weird ideas of its proponents
will ultimately be irrelevant.
