Weightlessness

All,

Savage's work is worthy of discussion and his naive belief that
humans can adapt to a weightless environment is spot-on with what
NASA and the former USSR still seem to believe :-)

Savage's work is also an excellent example of what one man can do
with a dream, and so just think of what heights humans might sapire
to if we worked together synergestically.

His idea that a sea based is also worth discussing. If the colony
were to be open to all nationalities, then it would turly represent
the human race and would allow nations to continue with their petty
nationalistic disputes and posturing.

I believe that that stars will be colonized by the humans that
colonize the solar system, and I believe that the humans who colonize
the solar system will first colonize the ocean and make it an
economically viable platform from which to launch space colonies. Not
paying federal and state taxes would give such a colony a big head
start IMO.
