That'll be pretty negligible the design I've been picturing, where the
major diameter is much larger than the minor diameter. But you're
right, there would be such a minor effect (or major, if the wheel isn't
mostly empty in the middle).

I thought the point wasn't to allow for adjustment, but rather to make
an entire 1G city so people wouldn't *have* to adjust. But you make a
good point here -- you could shape it like a parabola, and have the
whole range of available gravities, just like a multi-deck or spherical
space habitat.
