Please be specific about Chardin. What I gave is a perfectly good
and specific summary of Catholic teaching: evolution happens, but
not randomly.

I must demur; Catholics do indeed say shame on you, and we should
say it more often, although I myself in this instance was speaking
ironically in this case and meant just the opposite: thanks to the
poster for trying to bring wonder into "science."
