Hi Mike,

I was thinking along the lines of a horizontally oriented radiator
in the permanently shadowed crater. I suspect that your right about a
vertical radiator "edge on" to the sun and radiating sideways. I wonder
how much the reflected and re-radiated IR from the sunlit surface of
the moon would reduce the heat rejection capacity of the radiator. I
wouldn't be surprised if someone has already made this calculation.
