I'm so sorry, should I just hold your hand for you and

As with any business/enterprise/project, it is good to
be informed. If you think that by posting links to
people to actually learn something themselves instead
of just sitting there and being told what to think is
a bad thing, then I am sorry for you.

It reminds me alot of people who program who program
using microsoft visual basic. They get so use to
microsoft holding their hands and guiding them that
they soon forget how to solve solutions on their own
w/o using ms products. These people are then stuck
with only being able to solve all solutions only by
using microsft tools cause that is all they know how
to use anymore. Nevermind the fact that there are a
thousand better ways to do it that are much cheaper
and much more innovative. They instead wish to stick
with only that comfort zone that microsoft has given
them.

So I am sorry if you feel that by having people go out
and educate themselves squelches their dreams. I tend
to think that those out there who actually educate
themselves beyond just watching anime (which I do
watch also) and reading popular science's latest
article tend to come up with better, more informed
ideas that actually make sense and are workable.

Yeah its the hard way out, but I think that if the
original poster who I responded to went and spent a
few weeks educating himself about orbital mechanics,
he would be able to adapt what he had learned to his
initial thoughts and come out with something more
coherent, fleshed out and implementable.

As far as DOing something, some of us actually are
already DOING things instead of just talking. Beyond
my everyday job in the space manufacturing industry, I
work with youth educating them on space and science in
general and have donated alot of my time to
volunteering my time to various space outreach
programs. So don't even give me any of the high and
mighty crap. For the most part, alot of people on
this list are very intelligent people who actually
want to learn something and share their knowledge. I
am sorry if that offends you.

I apologize to the rest of the group for this
