Your statement brings to mind another conundrum; if the immigrant
population is selected to be free of sexually communicable diseases,
then you'll have a population pool that won't have to fear Herpes
and AIDS as well as the treatable diseases like syphillis and
gonnorhea. The result is likely to be a freer sexual attitude and
more worry about introducing such diseases into the *clean
population* through lax immigration controls.
What impact will this have on tourism and short term business
visits? Will strict health screening and quarantines be de rigeur or
will they be such a hassle that the attempt to eradicate
communicable sexual diseases within the population will fail for a
closed cycle cannot be assured.
Any thoughts?
