I think terraforming is interesting as well, on an occasional basis.

The genetics thread started off on a spacesettlers theme but we've
now gotten into the many offshoots that don't pertain to
spacesettlers all to well.

I don't see it going on too much longer. Everyone's had the
opportunity to throw their opinions into the mix, clarify
misunderstandings, and we'll all go on our merry ways, all still
holding our opinions :) LOL

I think you're right, we're getting to know each other so it becomes
easier to stray off-topic when we all get hopped up about something.

I'm sure that there are groups for terraforming and also groups for
genetics. I'm too busy to join more groups other
than "spacesettlers" and "SSI." How could anyone keep up? These two
tax me no end.

But I will say that I enjoy the depth of discussion and thought that
these groups offer compared to the signal/noise ratio of most
newsgroups. Good work everyone.
