TAXES

Actually States Rights was the instrument by which Slavery began to
be abolished. Starting with Massachuessets.

Democrats only recognized State's Rights after they began losing
control of the Federal Government to Republicans. Prior to that they
frequently flouted them. Violating State Habeus Corpus. State Due
process and court jurisdictions. And let us not forget Bleeding
Kansas.
