One of my favorite space movies is an oldie but a goodie. A movie
called "Outland" was made years ago starrig Sean Connery and Peter
Boyle.
It's a space age remake of the classic western "High Noon". The
thing I like about the movie, apart from the characters and the plot,
is the dipiction of living conditions in a space mining operation.
Instead if being all "gee whiz" high tech it showed the living and
working conditions of the "average man" in a remote work location. I
believe it's more realistic than a lot of the other futurist concepts
I've seen.
